Leave Cutoff

Here you may view and manage Leave Cutoff details.

By default, system already assign to you the Carry Forward Days and Encashment but you may edit it based on your preferences.

 

Example 1 - Leave Type is not set as an encashment leave

Entitle days: 14

Taken days: 0

Available days: 14

Max BF days: 2

CF days: 2

Encashment Days: 0

 

The available days is 14. Based on Employee Group setting for Annual Leave, maximum BF leave days is 2 days, so CF days will capture 2 days and encashment is 0. The remaining 12 days will not be converted into cash as this leave type is not set as an encashment leave.

 


 

Example 2 - Leave Type is set as an encashment leave

Entitle days: 14

Taken days: 0

Available days: 14

Max BF days: 9

CF days: 9

Encashment Days: 5

 

The available days is 14. Based on Employee Group setting for Annual Leave, maximum BF leave days is 9 days, so CF days will capture 9 days while another remaining 5 days will be converted into cash.

 

Example 3 - Leave Type is set as an encashment leave

Entitle days: 8

Taken days: 0.5

Available days: 7.5

Max BF days: 8

CF days: 7.5

Encashment Days: 0

 

The available balance is 7.5. Based on Employee Group setting for Annual Leave, maximum BF leave days is 8 days, so CF days will capture all available balance 7.5 days to be carry forward to next year.

Encashment days is 0 as the available leave days balance is less than maximum BF days.

 

The carry forward leave days will increase next leave balance.

E.g.: CF days is 7.5 so 2019 Leave Balance is 8 + 7.5 = 15.5
